Refilling the HP 02 Cartridge

1.Use the enclosed eyelet screw to create the filling hole at the top of the cartridge. Picture A, on the right, illustrates where the refill hole should be created.

2.Fill the syringe with ink. Insert the needle into the filling hole and push down into the cartridge. Inject up to 20ml of ink or until the cartridge is full. Do not exceed 30ml on these cartridges. It is always better to under fill than over fill any cartridge. You can always add more ink later.

3.Once your cartridge has been filled, remove the needle from the cartridge and plug the top of the cartridge with the plugs provided in your refill kit. Please make sure to seal the plug tight so that no extra air goes in our out of the cartridge as it prints. You will also avoid any
spills as well.

Note:OEM (original) black cartridges usually come with only 12ml of ink, so if you’re refilling an original it may only hold 12ml. Uni-Kit compatible cartridges hold more.
