HP 74, 74XL and 75, 75XL

1.Peel back the label from the top of the cartridge to expose the refill holes of 1. the cartridge. (The illustrations on the right are for reference only, match colors
on your cartridge by poking the refill holes with toothpicks to be sure you are refilling the right color.)

2. Fill the syringe with the correct color of ink.

3. Insert the needle into the cartridge of the filling hole. Slowly inject ink into the 3. cartridge is full. Use approximately 5 ml per chamber

4. Use a piece of tape to seal the hole(s) made in the top label.

Note: The cartridge will leak if the holes are not sealed properly.

5.Rinse the syringe with water and dry between each color refill or store for further use

6. Reinstall the cartridge and run 1 - 3 test pages as per printer instructions. If 6. necessary leave cartridge in printer for up to 24 hours to allow ink to flow to the print head.

Note: This time is greatly reduced if the cartridge is refilled before it is com
pletely empty.
